One thing that Avery wanted to see in the morning were the horses. She yikes horses you know. But who knew horses could be so gosh darned big.
You can see the concern on her face.
Eventually we found the pony rides. Much better. She did not budge for a long time. Just watched and watched. One pony kept sneezing. At first that scared her, but then she would shout "bless you!" at every sneeze. I am sure the pony appreciated all the good wishes.
One really fun part of the morning was getting to ride the cow train with Grandpa.
Should we tell Grandpa that the thick layer of sunscreen that he applied without looking in a mirror is making him look a little pasty? Naw. It would just make him embarrassed, and he burns really easy. He needs the protection. We love him just the way he is, albino look and all.
Avery and Grandpa are in the third car up from the back of the train. Avery loved the ride. Obviously, Travis, Danielle and I are laughing our selves silly watching Avery and Marc have so much fun. If you look close Avery gives us a big wave as they go by.
